About Me

Though I didn’t realize it at the time, I was training to be an intimacy professional years before the position existed. My background includes acting, casting, production, sex education, and dance. I’m the Founder of Cuddle Sanctuary, an organization that has provided education about consent, boundaries, and touch since 2014. 

I’ve been working as an intimacy professional in Los Angeles since 2019. I’ve worked on projects including The Idol (HBO), Blonde (Netflix), Invasion (Apple TV+), Deep Water (New Regency) directed by Adrian Lyne, CSI: Vegas (NBC), and Old (Blinding Edge Productions) directed by M. Night Shyamalan along with productions at Theatre 40 in Beverly Hills. 

I’ve worked as a corporate consultant and have been hired to help people communicate more effectively in organizations including Stanford University, Wells Fargo, and the US Marine Corps. I graduated cum laude from UCLA with a degree in communications. 

As an Intimacy Coordinator, I am certified with Intimacy Professionals Association and was trained by Founder, Amanda Blumenthal. My training as an Intimacy Director was with Rachel Flesher whose credits include Goodman Theatre, Shakespeare Dallas, Writers Theatre, and Steppenwolf Theatre. 

As the writer/performer of a play about sexuality, I’ve presented the show at theaters and universities across the country.

I’m on the Advisory Board of the nonprofit, Sex Positive World, and support safe work environments for all. This includes those in marginalized groups related to gender, sexual expression, and ability, and a commitment to anti-racism. 

I have experience working with young actors and unscripted content, as well as knowledge about polyamory and BDSM. I served as the IC on the BAFTA award winning game, Immortality.

For productions that have never worked with an intimacy professional, I am happy to be the first. Given that the job is relatively new, I understand that it can take time to build trust and rapport. I’m a skilled facilitator with a deep respect for storytelling!
